Went out to Spanaway today..the new boat launch is in and VERY NICE! Started out with 2 lb. smallie, followed by 3 more about a 1 lb. a piece. Hooked into an absolute PIG LM that I played a little too long1 ;-( Came off trying to lip him at the boat. I got pictures I'll post on the web site (Aaron met me later in the morning) and was able to snap a few photos...see and you all thought I was lying! Ha :-)Water temp was 56 degrees by the time we left...was 51 this morning at around 7:30am. Caught them all on white/Cht. spinner bait with a white twin tail yum trailer (about 5ft. water).

I take back what I said about warmer weather turn'n fish on. They've moved back out to deeper cover. Good lord! 78 last week, 33 and snowing this week. Will Spring ever get here! Planned a trip on ake Wa today and bagged it as the whitecaps and rollers exceeded the height of my boat by about a foot!

Hi guys, I'm interested in joining the club and want to know if you have a youth club as well, and if so what is the earliest you except?

Hey Rookie,
Welcome to the blog! The answer is tricky..we've had a strong junior membership in the past, but because of the "team" fishing, we've had some Jr. members move on. If you have a boat and or a friend that owns a boat (with a livewell), you'd be ready to go. I may be wrong, but I believe 14 is the minimum age??? You can always visit one of our meetings to see what things are about. Hope to see you in May!

Hey guys, great job on the web site. I miss all of you and the fun I had being involved in the club. I appreciate the pics you have posted. I'm trying to work out a trip back for some fishing and a club meeting. Thanks again from a past president.
